You can set up your recurring products and services to start billing after a delay from the checkout date. The delay can be set up in either days or months, depending on your preferences. This applies whether you are creating a new payment link or quote or just making changes to an existing one.
But that's not all; you can also sell recurring line items with different start dates, billing frequencies, and term lengths. So, you have more flexibility in your offerings, and your customers can choose what works best for them. It's about giving you more control and making things easier for everyone involved.
While creating a quote or payment link, you can configure the billing start date for recurring line items by adding a delay. The delay can be adjusted in terms of days or months from the checkout date.
If applied to a quote, a new "Future charges" section will be added to the published quote to let customers know when they will be charged.
The buyer will visibly see the amount to be paid today and any further fees they agree to when they continue the checkout process on such a quote or payment link. The subsequent charges will be made automatically using the bank or credit card information given at checkout.
The notification that you receive, as well as the buyer's receipt, will both include the start dates and billing information.
Newly established subscription records in HubSpot CRM with future start dates will have a new status called "Scheduled." They will begin billing on the specified date. The buyer contact, the transaction, and the company records will all be connected to these planned subscriptions (if available).
